Hypothyroidism

על העסק

Dr. Kurland Norbert, M.D., treats patients suffering from hypothyroidism since 1981, which most common form is the auto-immune Hashimoto`s disease. Together with some experts in thyroid diseases, he believes that the reference values of TSH are too wide, leaving thousands of patients undiagnosed and untreated. In fact, there is no relationship between TSH and how people feel. Furthermore, hypothyroidism is usually not optimally managed with the current hormonal replacement therapy. Some other options exist to achieve optimal health and resolution of symptoms: desiccated thyroid extract, immune stimulating treatment addressing the auto-immune component, and addition of T3 time-released medication. These treatments are prescribed at the clinic of Dr. Kurland in Kfar-Saba. As well, should be carefully taken in full consideration frequently associated pathologies and their interactions with thyroid function, such as thyroid and menopause, thyroid and adrenal glands, thyroid and gut (gluten), hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, issues usually overlooked and which are poisoning the existence of millions individuals.
